A 3:55 minute short film debute of Director/Writer/Producer Shelton Minor about his Character Richard Steele played Skip Nitty renowned rapper and now actor. I worked with first time director Shelton Minor. He wanted a single long take, in a sketchy stair well. We had a limited budget to get the project done and a difficult shooting situation. After comparing all the available options: slider dolly on a stationary rig, slider dolly on a jib, or steadicam, we decided on steadicam for the flexibility. I worked with ELi Aronof who is a great guy and steadyicam operator a real pro. Shot on location at Studio City with Red MX , 18mm Illumina Lens, with a Tiffen Steadicam, and a preston remote follow focus.

The video was shot on 2 iPhones and a 5dII while recording Jack Greer’s new acoustic album “A Saturday Afternoon in November.” Jack and his son Trinity recorded some of his favorites songs with just his voice and his guitars.
